He is responsible for running ValueClick Media, the online advertising sales house which has a network of over 10,000 sites with UK traffic. Richard leads the teams and manages the business heads for sales, publisher development, and account management and operations. Richard has been instrumental in leading the charge across the network industry to move away from the ‘blind network’ model and become transparent. In October 2008 Richard was promoted to to the new role of managing director, UK media and trading, ValueClick UK, which has since developed to include responsibility for heading up UK trading agreements with the agency groups across all of the ValueClick business units. Richard is active within the industry and was voted as Interim Chairman by IASH members in 2008, a role he held for two years before deciding to step down. |
