What announcements can we expect?
Sony is enjoying a strong presence at this year’s Games Week following an understated E3 this year. At E3, Sony Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshia said that they held back on some announcements because they wanted to save them for later in the year, and this looks like it could be the big moment. “E3 was only half the story”, PlayStation’s official Twitter account teased, and we’re looking forward to hearing the rest of it!
It’s already known that Sony has a massive array of games in the pipeline right now. What they’ll reveal today is anyone’s guess, but there is some speculation that there will be updates on Days Gone, Detroit, Spider-man and God of War. Many fans are hoping they’ll share more information about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and The Last of Us 2, and there could even be some surprises about Call of Duty WW2 and Destiny 2. We might also see some hardware announcements, such as the unveiling of the updated PSVR.
The conference is expected to run for a few hours. After the event, those watching at home should stay tuned because PlayStation plans to stick around to take a closer look at some of Paris Games Week’s biggest announcements.
